Balls Head Reserve, Waverton
Enter Bay Rd off the Pacific Highway and proceed over the railway line (Waverton station) and continue on into Balls Head Drive which you follow into the Reserve. Half way around the loop road you come to the car park alongside the road and the toilet block on the right hand side of the road. We meet in the barbecue area on the left side of the road. There is a good vantage point for painting through the barbecue area towards the water outlook. From this area there are spectacular and interesting harbour views. There are seats but a stool or folding chair would be an advantage. There is water on site and we can use the barbecue for cooking something for lunch if you wish.

Bus 265 or Train may be taken from North Sydney Station to Waverton Station. From there it is a 810m walk to Balls Head Reserve.
