Biography

In 2004, I  completed a course in oil painting with John Wilson, Katoomba which I received as a Christmas present. This was the start of my education as a painter. On returning home ‘hooked’ I studied under Erika Beck (oil); Madeline Szemanski, Rob Candy and Malcolm Carver (watercolour); and currently am studying portraiture with Nafisa Naomi. I have completed 3 workshops with JohnWilson. In the early part of my art instruction I was guided by the late Peter Yeomans.

I have exhibited with the Mosman Art Society, at the Kuringai Art Centre, in the North Sydney Art Prize and at the St Vincent;s Hospital Art Shows. I have received 2 Highly Commended Awards in the North Sydney Art Prize.

My paintings are dispersed throughout the walls of the home I share with my trusted critic of 39 years and the homes of my 6 children and 6 grandchildren.
