Jennifer Tucker qualified as an Architectural Draftsman in Perth, Western Australia. After raising a family in Melbourne and Sydney she returned to work as a Tracer and Draftsman while developing skills as a Cartographer in an engineering firm. Then she assisted her husband to develop a boutique publishing company, specializing in hand drawn maps for State Transit NSW Government and maps for quality destination tourism books.
Jennifer resumed her interest in art, acquiring a Diploma of Fine Arts at TAFE, majoring in Printmaking and sharing the Phyllis Arnot Print prize in 2010. While exploring various mediums, her work reflects extremes that the Australian landscape copes with and phenomenon of bush resilience and regeneration. Also her interest in architecture reflects a minimalist and graphic approach to some of her work.
Jennifer held a joint exhibition of her body of work with 2 other artists at State Parliament of NSW in 2010.
