Exhibiting member of Mosman Art Society and Blackheath Art Society

The Royal Art Society was my introduction to the inspirational world of oil painting.

Watercolour and the flexibility of acrylic painting were then embraced with enthusiasm and my expressive and fluid style flourishes in these water mediums. I seek to immerse myself in each painting to capture my emotional response – the spiritual dimension.  I am passionate that painting comes from “within” – an expression of self – my colours seem to flow onto the canvas from another source.  When painting animals I am seeking to capture the “essence” of the animal.

I continue to study and attend workshops in Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

Fusing and slumping glass has become another passion.  The medium is American “Bullseye” Glass, kiln fired at extremely high temperatures.  The result is a durable, dishwasher-safe, graphic artwork.
