Biography

Jill studied Art & Design at The National Art School, Sydney. She has since worked in ceramics, illustration & graphics & has had much experience as a children’s art &craft teacher.

More recently, Jill has enjoyed working in painting & print-making. Her work has been accepted in The Mosman Art Prize, The Hunters Hill Art Prize, The Mosman Art Society, Artists of Mosman 2088, Sydney Royal Easter Show Arts & Crafts exhibitions, Warringah Printmakers & Ku- ring- gai Art Society (where she has been a prize winner).

Jill is also a member of the Australian Miniature Art Society NSW with whom she has been a prize winner in their National Awards. Her paintings are represented in Australia & overseas.

Jill recently had a solo exhibition of her original illustrations & associated etchings, paintings & sculptures from her children’s book ‘Elephantasy’ at the Mosman Art Gallery Cube.

Jill loves the challenge of the many different mediums under the “art umbrella”.
