General: All Members and their friends welcome. We meet ~10am and paint to between 12md and 1pm. Bring lunch if you wish. Generally if it is wet at 9.15am it is off.

Park in the carpark and paint the beach, rocks, trees, park etc Coffee at kiosk. Parking is metered at $7 for the first 2 hours and $3 per subsequent hour. The nearest free parking is in Morella Street which is approximately 5 minutes walk to the park [...]

Chowder Bay at the end of Chowder Bay Road near parking area, and Harbour Trust buildings. We look over Clifton Gardens Beach or out to the naval wharf. Lots of interesting buildings and harbour views near the barbecue area.

This is near where plein air painting started in Australia about 120 years ago!! We walk a short way from the carpark around the corner towards the harbour and the boatshed. Alternatively, we can walk across the park and view the water from the corner.

We meet near the Parriwi Road end at the carpark and paint on the grassy areas or on the beach.

[ July 7, 2011; ] Thursday 7 July Wyargine Point at the very north end of Balmoral Beach.
We can park cars in Burran Avenue and walk down the rather uneven path through the bush down to the beach . We can paint the attractive trees, beach, rocks or the island and Bather’s Pavillion across the water.
